
After a 4-year acquisition campaign, German collector Dieter Burkamp was ready to collaborate with the famous collector Peter Schenning. He bought a building in Goslar, and opened the Don Quixote House Museum. The collection of original works included famous names in art such as Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. Burkamp contributed 10 Crihana paintings. Before the opening of the museum, the book Spuren des Don Quixote (Gisela Burkamp) was printed and the collection was presented in several cities – 2003. In 2016 the collection toured in Turkey – Ankara and Bodrum.
